Personal Art

I have a 1st Class BA Honours Degree in Computer Animation, which enabled me to secure my first game development job working at Sony Computer Entertainment’s London Studio as a character and environment artist. However, my art interests soon began to expand to encompass traditional media and classical art techniques—leading me to return to academia to study figure drawing and painting; starting at the Central Saint Martins and the Art Academy in London, learning from award-winning portrait painters like Brendan Kelly; followed by the prestigious Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in Poland at the studio of sculptor Zofia Glazer. I am also indebted to the figurative artist Michael Mentler for his generous art instruction at The Society of Figurative Arts.

Although my work now focuses on interaction design and game design theory, I still enjoy character design on a professional level. My preferred drawing tools remain a 3B pencil and paper but Adobe Photoshop and Procreate are also exciting to work with.
